I just did it for the 1st time today. Do you want to do it together?
  • I'm on day 8...it's killer but SO worth it. It's only 20 odd minutes but you really work hard...I feel stronger every single day :D Do it, you'll love it !! Stick with it when it gets hard, you'll find you thank yourself when its all over and you've completed it

    Good luck doll...you'll do great!

I'm heading into Level 2 Day 4 Saturday. It is a good workout, very intense and high paced. THe first day at a new level is the toughest I think, because you are trying to learn it as you do it. I think watching it 1-2 times before doing it might help you a little rather than just jumping into it. It definitely works. I've lost 1/2" off of my bicep, inner thighs, and hips each!! LOVE IT! GOod luck to you with it!

I just did day 1...OMG. I know if I stick with it, I'll see major results.
  • I'm doing Shred and gotta say it is still hard to do, but I am almost keeping up with Jillian on the First workout Level 1. I'm averaging 1800 calories about per day, but not losing any more weight. Not following any particular diet, just eating healthier and less. Breakfast is about 500 calories of something healthy. Lunch is a salad from Saladworks with very little dressing, but I do have the wheat roll with butter. So good!!! And dinner is whatever we are having that night, but I measure it out. Only losing inches I guess, because my pants are REALLY baggy. I can zip the next size down jeans, but I need to lose a little more weight/inches to really feel more comfortable. I'm trying to focus on the positives...feeling better, having more energy, playing with the kids, exercising 5x per week, baggy clothes. But I do find myself very frustrated about the weight on the scale. I have an under active thyroid and am on medication, but wondering if that has anything to do with it. Good luck on Shred and as I say, "Get ready for Jillian to bring the pain!" Only good pain though. =)

Losing inches is absolutely AWESOME - and when you're losing inches but not "weight" it's solid proof that you are losing fat and gaining muscle - which is going to make you look way more toned! Try not to be frustrated about the scale.
  • I'm just seeing Supergirl's response now. I was plugging in my information and logging off. Thank you so much for the kind words. It is now 01/19/2012 and I am still working out. I'm eating much healthier and just started excluding red meat from my diet. I'm down 22 pounds since logging on to this website, but a total of 27 pounds since Jan. 2011. It has been a long time and I'm really starting to see the results. This is the longest I have stuck to a healthier lifestyle and I finally feel like I made a lifestyle change and have not just been on a diet. I hope all of you are still going strong!!! <3
