PINTO BEANS! Ha... you thought I was gonna talk about real fruit! :bigsmile: :bigsmile:

I know they are good source of fiber, but seems high in calories.... (200 calories for a cup)? At least it seems high to me. Anyone else find this high?

    are most of the calories from protein or carbs? it does seem high...
    I wonder if garbanzo beans and black bean have a similar number?

    I usually have 1 serving of pintos and 1 serving of black beans per day. I have a lot of time reaching my calorie goals still even with those, so it's not too bad to me.

    Magical indeed. Also, nutrient and fiber dense. Inexpensive. No day is complete without 'em IMO.
