Time of day to weigh...

I am trying to cut some excess softness, but as an active middle aged guy, my weight fluctuates all day (usually up to 8 lbs).
So should I be weighing in in the morning (at my lightest), or in the evening (at my heaviest).
Thanks for the input,
Shawn

I normally would weigh first thing in the morning after using the bathroom.
  • Makes sense... didn't know if that was cheating though haha

Nah it's normal. By time the night comes and you weigh in you have had food, drinks and probably retaining water or bloated.
  • Makes sense... thanks!

but as an active middle aged guy

I thought--wow he looks young to be "middle aged." So I looked at your profile...Is 29 really middle aged?! I'm not ready to be middle aged yet!
  • Hahaha Seems middle aged. Im not ready either though!

dude. 29 is NOT middle age. unless youre planning on dying when youre 60.

anyways, weigh when you want, just make it the same time every day. most people do first thing in morning cause - duh- we're lighter then. LOL
  • Haha sounds good. Thats what I figured. Thanks

Oh lord, I just turned 29....now I'm depressed!

Seriously though...weigh in the morning and you are not middle aged.
  • Haha middle aged was a bad choice of words :p

I also weigh first thing in the morning but that is just to insure I always weigh in at the same time to minimize fluctuations.
