Okay, so I just started my diet 5 days ago and right now I feel good. Sometimes it's hard because this has been the first time, even in my life, that I've followed the requirements to eat a proportionate amount of calories and so forth. I'm still hanging in there, especially with my parents doing the challenge with me. All is Well, and I'll make it til the end.

Way to get it! Try not to think of it as a "diet", think of it as a lifestyle change.

This. You don't want to make some radical temporary change, but develop good sustainable habits.
    Good job sticking to it!

I wouldnt look at is as a race. A journey is a better description. The importnat thing is to see it through to the end. One of the things you need to work out is to put things in place to make sure you are still going in 1,3,6 months. Being consistent is very importnat.
