Hi,
I'm looking for some advice. I have always struggles with my weight, it has been up & down. I have never been fat but i feel as if i am when i start gaining weight. At the moment i weigh about 9 and a half stone.
So.. my diet isnt that great, i tend to follow a diet a few days of the week where on a typical day i will eat the following;
breakfast: granola
lunch: brown pasta with tuna, or brown bread s/which
dinner: chicken & veg
snacks: usually 1 biscuit or chocolate bar
I would have no problems if i were to stick to this every day but the reality of it is i just can't...
A few days of the week (usually weekends and weeknights) i end up eating over 3000-4000 calories and feeling depressed over it..
ice recently started dating and the guy is very into fitness and i know he wouldnt date me if i put weight on... ive already put on 6lbs since i started dating him...
i dont know what to do, i have no self discipline and my days are too busy to workout (I work 9am-8pm).
I'm sick of feeling guilty and depressed about my weight.. i want to feel happy again but it seems so far away....
any help appreciated.

First of all, don't worry about what any guy thinks of your weight!
So, it looks like your sample day doesn't have enough calories and so you're "making up" those calories with binge days. You could easily have more to eat. Maybe add in some yogurt and fruit with your granola, some boiled eggs for a snack, a big salad with dinner. That should keep you fuller and less likely to binge.

Only a professional can determine if you truly have binge eating disorder. It is of course a painful and harmful mental state to be in. I hope you discuss this soon with your health provider.
And you should NEVER allow another person to dictate and control your choices. If this guy would honestly leave you for putting on weight, then he's rather shallow and completely non-supportive! You're having a hard time right now. The last thing you need is the stress and aggravation of a person like that!!
In the mean time, try to make changes to your diet to add in more calories, as your restrictive diet right now may be in part a cause for your weekend binges. Eat more protein, it helps you stay full. Increase the amount of fruit and vegetables you eat. There is no such thing as "bad foods." All food is fine for you in moderation. But you may find that a plateful of vegetables and eggs are more filling than bread every day for example.
Best of luck to you!
