I did it!!! I hit my goal weight today. 162 to 134 lbs. I took 5 months. I have to say the time did go fast. Cloths size from 10-12 to 4-6. Now the maintaining phase. I feel better than I have in years. I love my workout routines and can't imagine ever stopping them (especially Zumba). But I have to remember not to start overeating again. I am in such a great place right now.

My next set of goals:
1-maintaining
2- tone up my body a bit more.

AND MOST IMPORTANT:
3-Continue MFP and encourage others to achieve their goal. Any one that wants to friend me, I would love to encourage and support to help you achieve. I want all of you to succeed and would love to cheer you on!!!

    Well done!!! :)

The maintaining phase may be the hardest, because a part of you wants to just breathe and ease up a bit, which you CAN do. But keep those mini-goals in mind, use MFP's maintenance mode, and I'll sure you'll do fine. :)

Congrats! I'm in maintenance mode also. I hit my goal weight in September 2010 -- so I've managed to make it through the holiday season AND 3 separate injuries (all of which kept me out of the gym for extended periods of time). YOU CAN DO THIS!

I've recently started working harder at toning and wow... my stomach "pooch" has gone WAAY down and my arms are starting to look fabulous!

brilliant, well done. You shouldnt give up your exercise anyway. Maintaining is much the same as losing, just a little less strict, but youll still need to watch your cals and exercise. Good luck x
