It's Almost Spring!

Nature is awesome. What a great afternoon for a walk with the dog. I'll share a couple photos for the folks who are still stuck in the white stuff.

    It was 30 degrees here today which felt amazing! Cant wait for spring!

    I'm not sure what Jack is but part Lab, I think. I live at the end of a dirt road so people regularly dump animals out here. I've rescued dozens of cats and dogs over the years and found homes for them. Jack is the only one I kept. He had been severely abused and had given up on people. It took me a month to get him to let me touch him and at least a year before he really trusted me to any extent. It was like he was always waiting for the other shoe to drop, always with one foot out the doggie door.

    I've had him four years now and it's only been the past year he's been able to fully relax. He's a great companion!

    Although I'm not in the US, global warming this year was so omnipresent.

    Thanks for the reminder of what we have to look forward to. Your 'it's almost spring' looks like my summer. :smile: Seriously-grass doesn't look like that until May up here.

    Nature is amazing and I love watching everything come alive in the Spring and seeing all the creatures start to go about their daily business.

    The yellow flowers in photos above are called "Fiddlenecks". Here's a macro that explains the name and I even caught a ladybug going about her business.

    It was 40 degrees in Wisconsin today. The snow is slightly melting. It is slushy out and wet. Nothing too great here. Lol
