Successes/struggles this week: I usually find night time the hardest to not over eat. Usually I do great during the day, but night time i end up over snacking. I tried really hard this week. The only thing is not too sure how much of my loss is actual weight loss, because i was sick with a 24 hour flu that started friday and went into saturday. Today i am back at it again. Hopefully i can keep alot of that weight i lost off this week, and possibly lose more.

Success this week I am happy to be down. As usual for me I was ready to throw the towel in but I am sticking with this. There is no better time then right now to lose this extra weight.
Keep up the great work everyone

I really struggled this week. I gained, unfortunately. I always end up sabotaging myself and I'm sick of it. As soon as I lose weight and get excited, I fall right back into my old habits. All I can do is take things one day at a time. I think I'm putting too much pressure on myself by creating long-term goals that feel so far away. From now on, I am only going to focus on daily goals.

Hi Everyone!!! Well done for logging no matter what. I see some good progress for lots of people. I've not had a great week personally due to painful sciatica. But here goes:

    Name: Maria
    Age: 42
    Height: 5'5"

    Start Weight (1st March): 170lbs
    Goal Weight (1st April): 160lbs

    8th March: 170lbs

    22nd March:
    29th March:
    1st April:

    Weight lost/gained this week: 0lbs
    Weight lost/gained this month: 0lbs

    Successes/struggles this week:

I've been struggling to stay below 1200 cals/day so upped it to 1500 cals/day which is more realistic for me right now. I've been pretty good food-wise (mostly) but there has been a bit of comfort eating due to stress and pain (sciatica). The sciatica also scuppered my exercise plans, especially earlier in the week. I did manage 2 short runs and a swim in the 2nd half of the week though. I'm a tad frustrated as I had planned to start my half marathon training in March. The race is in late June and I need at least 12 weeks to train but preferably more. I'm 10K fit but of course, a half marathon is double that. Need to work on my endurance, strength & speed. I've done 2 half marathons and a marathon in the past so I know what's needed.

Anyway, I'm hoping for a better week next week!

    Successes/struggles this week:

Struggle wise - was really ill throughout the last week of February and still feeling pretty run down. but after a week or so of sleeping more than I thought humanely possible and taking many drugs to manage a whacking fever and now being back on my feet for another busy week I've had a bigger than usual drop. Have been very lax on extra exercise - I walk everywhere daily at between 3.5-4mph so I get a decent amount each day, usually around 30m altogether, but I have a stationary bike that I try to use additionally but haven't been near it for a while - first it was finding time, then it was being ill, now we're back to finding time  If I don't manage 30m today, I need a real push to definitely find time to get on next week at least once or twice, before I find the usual 30m set I do is way out of my ability lol.

Success wise - from my highest weight I am now only 2 lbs away from having lost 100lbs and I've lost 28lbs since I joined MFP in early January until today - both these things make me very happy.

Successes/struggles this week: Last weekend we were out of town on a mini vacation, so I didn't track my food. But I didn't think it would take me all week to make up for that . . . I did great with my exercising, so I'm trying hard to not be discouraged. Overall I'm feeling really good and strong and my clothes are fitting so much better. I'm not willing to eat less than 1500 calories because I know it's not realistic for me, so I know my weight loss is going to be slower right now. As long as I watch my snacking and keep up with my exercising, I know that the results will follow. It might be just not as quickly as I'd prefer!

Successes/struggles this week: I had a really big whoooosh period at the beginning of the month/at the end of Feb. So although I lost a lot in a few days I'm prepared to have a bit of a stall. I have found that as I am getting closer to my goal weight by loss has become MUCH less linear (weight loss is of course never linear to begin with). I was still a bit sick at the beginning of the week but I am much better and I hope I get back into exercising :). I did go to boxing on Thursday, so I will see if I can keep it up.

I know that most of this is bloat/water weight. When I started last week my weight was abnormally high for me so that is what I originally thought but I've been known to binge and put on weight so I wasn't entirely sure. That being said, my original goal for the end of the month will most likely be reached early, but I'm not going to change my goal because anything extra will just be a bonus. :)

Since I started tracking last week I am down 5 lbs. I am super excited this morning! This will help the motivation for the next week...hopefully! My struggle thus far has been trying to find the perfect balance of food so that I stay within my calorie goal but not feel hungry. I think I am getting there.

    Nice progress!
