NSV of a different sort

Today I had a non scale victory of different sort. One of my friends who is a very big guy actually went to my gym today to sign up. He had gastaric bypass surgery about 3 years ago but for about the last year and a half he hasn't lost any more since he really didn't add exercise into his routine. For about the last 6 months I have been gentlely prodding him to join the gym and just to even get on the elliptical or bike for 30 mins a day. Because of my success he finally decided it was time for him to join.
I really do not think there is any better accomplishment then to have such success that it motivates others to get out and exercise.
PS: It was also my posting on facebook that help push him to go. Every time he would get on he would see my update and think why am I not out there doing something? So for everyone that keeps getting push back from one or two people on there you are also probably motivating people that just do not mention anything.

That is awesome! I always worry about those folks who get the surgery, but don't learn how to eat or work exercise into their routines. I hope your friend sticks with it. Love your story!0
