okay so I walked 1.75 miles in 30 min while pushing 75# so I don't know how many calories i burned. They have just plane walking or they have walking while holding 15# but not walking with a stroller. So which should I use to put in my calories?

Thanks!

I have wished there was an option for that too!! Pushing a stroller certainly must burn more calories, especially on those hills :P

just type in stroller into the database and it will come up with pushing or pulling stroller and claims I burn 91 cals in 30 min. I would say that a walk like that burns more. Maybe google some databases that would have it and see if you get different answers and average them, thats what I do.
  • I'll google and let you know what I find. I read on my alli pill insert that if you walk a mile in 30 min it burns 60 calories...if you do it pushing a stroller it burns 140. I'm assuming that's a single stroller with one 40# child in it. Not a double stroller with 2 kids with a combined 75# in it LOL.

I'll google and see what I can find for you!

This was very interesting. It said walking 3.5 miles per an hour for 1 hour pushing a stroller was 372-444!!! It said the best work out is to walk 3.5 miles an hour on a flat surface while pushing a stroller. Again I'm assuming that is a single stroller with a 20-40# child in it.

So I'm thinking it might be safe to say I could double it for 75# right?

So it would be about 80 calories for a single stroller...

120 calories for a double? what do you think?
