What is your goal? How much are you eating in total? How much are you netting?

Opening your diary makes this a bit easier.

Does your mfp say you need to eat under 1000 cal? that's a glitched. Try opening it on browser.

My daily calorie goal is 1,500... After the day I still have 1,000 calories to eat. Is my goal way too high for me?

No ... your intake is far too low. 500 calorie intake is unhealthy.

So you're only eating 500 calories? Eat more. You're getting the message because your calorie intake is way too low.

Can you open your diary so we can see your intake? If you're truly eating 500 calories then you're eating far too few.

Your height, weight and goals could also help to determine how many calories you need to eat, but next to no one should be eating 500 calories.

Your weight being off wouldn't effect your logged total.
