The only ingredient is banana!

The smidgen of fat in bananas makes a magic trick when they are frozen and blended up. They turn creamy instead of crumbly, with a smooth texture any home ice cream chef would love to have in their frozen treats.
Here's a step-by-step slideshow of how to do it. The major tips can be summed up as:
• Peel your bananas first.
• Cut them into small pieces.
• Freeze for just 1-2 hours on a plate.
• Blend, blend, blend - scraping down the bowl when they stick.
• Enjoy the magic moment when they turn into ice cream!

-
Its good, guys. Especially on a really hot day. This summer in going to try it in a cone :P
I eat it with strawberries or frozen cherries thrown into the food processor with the bananas. Ive seen people add peanut butter. Never tasted it with pb though.0 -
I put peanut butter in and it is sooooo good. Really is comparable to for real ice cream - can't beat that!0
-
I'm definitely going to add peanut butter! Yummmm0
-
awesome gonna try; Thanks for the tip.0

I freeze my bananas overnight so it is super thick. Then I add two tablespoons of skim milk and 1/4 scoop of vanilla whey protein powder for a creamier, more "ice cream" like texture.
Then I add a little healthy banana cookie dough for a blizzard-like treat.
Today I had some in an ice cream cone. Delish!0 -

Hello fellow Redditor.0 -
OMG that sounds awesome. Wish I had this yesterday when I couldn't move cause it was SOOOOOOOOOO hot0
-
I put in almond milk and vanilla extract, sometimes a little additional fruit.0
-
That would be so good with a few mini chocolate chips mixed in too. Maybe not just like my favorite treat at Coldstone but a good substitue. I am going to try this soon.0
-
Oooh, I'm gonna have to try this with a little dark chocolate almond milk.0

Silk Pure Almond
I tried the banana thing today. It turned out really good, but I think it'd be easier in a food processor instead of a blender.0 -
I love you so much for posting this.
Ice cream is my weakness.
I will find you one day, and kiss your feet.
(Not really.)0 -
