Weigh in day Monday V Friday

Folks
What day do you pick for your weekly weigh in and why? I am thinking of changing mine to a Friday or Saturday morning. The reason is that I tend to save up my calories and have a bit more over the weekend which then means my Monday weigh in can be a little bit higher!
What about everyone else. When do you weigh in and why?

Hi i used to weigh on a Monday and yes the weekend always caused a problem so now i weigh on a Friday morning and i find it much better0

I don't have a weigh in day. I just weigh whenever I feel like it. No more than once a week usually closer to every 2 weeks.0

I weigh-in here on Mondays.
But I always keep track of my friday vs. monday weight to see any difference.
Luckily, I don't have a problem sticking to the same habits on the weekends.0 -

I went through a phase of joining a few challenges and weighing in on those days, before realising I was weighing myself 3-4 times a week!!!! Ridiculous! Now I've joined just one long-term challenge and the weigh in is on Sunday. If I join any other challenges, I'm going to use that weigh in day, so I don't get obsessed again!

I find Friday is better as if the result is good you are motivated for the weekend and you don't ruin your weeks good work over the weekend.0

I like to weigh-in Saturday mornings......for some reason I just like to know how I did the entire week before my weekend starts. I used to weigh myself on Mondays....but Mondays are already stressful enough and Fridays....I like to party or just relax....I don't want to worry about how much I lost or gained at that point lol.....it's all a mental thing regardless.0

Friday is my official weigh in day but I usually weigh on sometime during the week to see how much progress I've made0

me too, if I weigh on Friday I feel like I can splurge over the weekend because its ages until the next weigh in. Monday's keep me in check over the weekend.

I used to weigh on a monday too, and have recently changed to a friday and its so much better!
I actually look forward to weighing myself and it definately keeps me motivated through the week
i'm sure we are all guilty of letting our diet plans and exercise slide over the weekends, i know i do, and unfortunately have a partner who can eat/drink like a horse and not put on a kilo, his weight never changes!
so instead of dredding monday (and mondays are a rubbish day anyway!!) try changing it to friday, and feel confident and enjoy your weekend0 -

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to weigh in tomorrow and then go with a Friday weigh in from next week. Just think Monday is destined for failure as I will get really de-motivated if I don't lose because of what I've eaten over the weekend. Whereas a good weight loss Friday will keep me motivated over the weekend. x0

I weigh in on both friday and monday! I find that if ive lost on friday it gives me the motivation to keep going through the weekend and not binge!0

I weigh myself every day and record when I have a loss. I know my weight will fluctuate up and down through the week, but this works out as most motivating for me.
Funnily enough, I quite often get to my lowest on a Saturday of Sunday morning after a weekend blow-out!0 -
I weigh every second Monday. It keeps me from going overboard on the weekend before weigh in and I have lots of time and flexibility to adjust if I screw up every now and then.0

I like a Friday weigh in. Idk why. My Fridays are more scheduled and regular than a weekend so I can weigh in about the same time. All my days are the same in terms of eating, so that make no difference. I do unofficially weigh in during the week, but I only record Fridays weight.0

I was always a Saturday morning, not sure why, and I'm usually at my lightest then.
I'm now a Wednesday morning, as my pals who still go to Slimming World are a Wed evening, and it's nice to still be able to check in with them. I could see me going back to a Saturday though.0
