Your pic made me smile Amy.
You look like a proud warrior mama, returning from the hunt after slaying the fitness dragon. Such a proud pose, confidence in every muscle. Yep, I believe you will indeed make yourself proud. Life is good.

originally i logged 30d.s. under calesthenics. then i got a hrm on made my own exercise title and logged teh calories burned according to my hrm. lots of people log it under circuit training. in my experience, circuit training and calesthenics gave a similar calorie burn for the time i entered. i guess a hrm is your best bet, but again, my hrm gave me very similar calorie burn total as listed under calesthenics.
    does that help/make sense??

Congrats on getting started and good luck. The 30DS is an awesome workout! Just a couple of tips.... stretch MORE than what she does in the DVD after each workout!! You will be sore.....just keep going, by day 5 you will feel better! And don't be afraid of moving to the next level. They are all great!

As far as logging.... you can use circuit training, high impact aerobics or something along those lines. Those are all going to be estimates based on your age and weight. A Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) will give you more accurate numbers, but it's not necessary for most people. I also compare this other website with the database on here to find calories burned for varies activities .... http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc

    Good luck!!!
