Hello. I'm recovering from back surgery so it will be months before I can do meaningful exercise, I'm going to give this my all though! 1step: disposed of all the treats in my house. Anyone else forced to use just calorie restriction to lose weight?

I lost my first 25 with no exercise. At that point, I then felt that I could start doing a little walking, so I did, and eventually that lead to other things.

Concentrate on your nutrition (make sure you get the variety of nutrients your body will need for healing), use a food scale so you have a more accurate tracking of your intake, and the weight will come off. Slow and steady while you heal (fast weight loss isn't what you want after surgery, or any time, really).

By the time your doctors OK you for some exercise, you'll have already lost some weight, and will probably feel ready to get out there and move!

Weight loss really is mostly about how much you eat - exercise is for all the additional health benefits.
  • No not me but wish you luck ,you can still make a difference am sure.
