I made this today and YUUUUMMMMMMM!!!! I didn't use ice cream but I can def say, even w/out the ice cream, this dessert is a real winner. It tastes so decadent and I don't even feel guilty!

FYI: I may have used 3 caramels instead of the 2 the recipe called for. I didn't "bloom" it either. I just cut diced the apple. Guess you could say I'm a real rebel ;)

    Oh man that looks fantastic, but I don't have the skills to cut the apples that way, lol! But just baking apples in a dish with some cinnamon and brown sugar and adding caramel topping after works pretty well, in my experience (and typically I just mix it with plain Greek yogurt instead of adding ice cream).

    Don't worry... Me either. I took the easy way out and diced it.
