Does celulite go away when you lose weight? I am exercising, but I haven't seen any difference. I've lost 37 pounds so far and I see a slight difference, but I'm just wondering if it will go away completely?

I may get a little better, but if you have it, you have it. The best thing I've heard you can do is to stay well hydrated to lessen the appearance of cellulite.

I'm down to 135 from 165 (though I've been as high as 180) and it's a lot better. It's almost to the point where I don't think much about it. Feels great not to have it so pronounced. I don't plan on it going away completely.

Is cellulite even a real thing? I thought it's just fat. It'll come off eventually.

It's all about genetics. There are plenty of thin women with obvious cellulite.

My understanding is building muscles in your legs and some fake tanner can make it less noticeable if losing weight doesn't do the trick!

Cellulite is just how your fat cells form. It's genetic. So, less fat = less deformed fat cells.

But you may never get rid of it completely. I'm 5'8, 132 lbs, and I have cellulite on my thighs. Most women do.

Oh, and I've asked my dermatologist about this. You can knead the cellulite areas in the shower and it will diminish the look overtime. There are also laser treatments that are really expensive that can flatten the cells out, if it really bothers you. If you have an event and you want a quick fix, there are caffeinated body lotions that help hide cellulite, but it wears off.

Personally, I just focus on building more muscle and don't care very much about cellulite anymore :)

95% of women have cellulite. It will diminish as you lose weight, but your likely stuck with some forever.
