Beaten the Binge

Hi all,
I suffer from Binge Eating Disorder and after going 9 months on my diet without an incident, all of the chocolate over christmas broke my resolve and set me on a month long decent into countless chocolate bars and six-portion cheescakes which results in me putting on 17lbs over January and the first half of February.
As of today however I'm 23 days clean of binging and finally starting to feel better about myself. I took the first picture below the day I saw the effect my 3x 1,700kcal cheesecake-a-day habit (on top of meals) was having on my body:
And now I've managed to get control of myself and dropped half of that additional weight and decided to take the following picture as a confidence booster to keep me on the straight and narrow
Just thought I'd share that with you all

Wow! You look great! Keep at it ~ binge eating is so hard to get a grip on sometimes (I know believe me, and cheesecake is my all time fav lol). Be proud of your accomplishment! (*)0

Congrats! You DO look happier! Well done. How were you able to "tame the crave" did you slowly remove the crap from your diet or was it all of a sudden?

Thanks @godswill206 It was all of a sudden, I went over to buy a cheesecake from my usual supermarket but they were all out of the ones I was addicted to so had to buy a frozen one. I left it to defrost in the fridge while I went out that night and ate it at 2am (in my shame) and felt like death warmed over afterwards.
I did have have another slice of cheesecake a couple of days after but I was so put off by the last one that I really didn't enjoy it and decided to cut all of the other triggers out there and then while I had the strength to and now I'm a good 25 days clean0 -
31 days/1 month clean as of today, very happy with myself I think I've won.0

Great job Lewis! I did exactly the same thing. I had 5 weeks of abstinence before Christmas got me. Binged 3 months and now I have 12 days. We'll do this!!0
