This is my 2nd go round, started mfp in 2011 and had great success, was consistent for 5 months, lost 28 lbs. and at the end of that time I looked like this....

I slowly gained it all back plus some

I am in the same position! Did this back in 2011 after a breakup, got back to my pre-relationship weight, felt great...then I got pregnant in 2012 and of course gained some weight. I think the real issue was how I ate after I had the baby (you sort of have to shovel in food when you can). I am now sitting at the weight I was when I started MFP back in 2011. Hoping to lose 30ish lbs this year.

Wow, could be my story! I did so well! I looked so good! Had some health issues (shoulder surgery) and gave up. I self medicated with ice cream. I sat on the couch because I couldn't do anything but walk, and tucked into a giant bowl of caramel corn. I couldn't wear regular clothes - when you're in a sling for six weeks, you wear baggy pull on leggings. So i grew into the XL sweats. Ugg,I hate myself for what I let happen. I'm almost cleared for weight training (6 more weeks until 100%) but can still do a lot. No excuses! I'll sen yiu a request ☺️

Don't worry girls we can do this. One day at a time and with each other for support. I put on 30 lbs from about 2 years ago and still have 20 to go. It's been a struggle to get motivated like I was back then, but it's slowly coming back. I'm hoping the warmer weather will push me into high gear.

I understand! I was in the best shape ever, until moving close to fast food resturants and getting pregnant caused an enormous weight gain! I'm committed to losing it all again! Add me if you like!

Thank you all I am so excited to have you all for added inspiration! Life has a way of messing up our plans but we have to readjust and work a little harder, my downfall wasn't anything dramatic, I basically just moved and didn't have Internet to log, it didn't take much for me to give up on myself, kept saying ,"oh I did it once I can do it again, no problem." But it was a problem, I finally realized I will never be the wife I want to be or the mother I should be if I'm not completely happy with myself, so I'm putting myself first and everything else is starting to fall into place!!!! We can do this, go further than before, and stick with it throughout our happily ever afters
