A small, but signficant victory

Ive been as heavy as 172 since I started gaining weight in October of 2009. I obtained that dubious honor after I quit smoking last August. One thing I have not been in nearly two years though, is below 165 pounds.

Today I hit that mark.

I'm really beginning to believe that I can do this. I don't have to be a slave to my erratic hormones and ever-changing metabolism.

YAY!

Thanks all. Reaching this small goal has re-energized my campaign to get my slim and healthy body back. If I count the pounds that I lost before I found this site, I've actually lost 8 pounds since the middle of April or so.
