I wouldn't recommend it, lots of my friends back in France tried it because it's HUGE right now over there and they couldn't handle it, financially (meat + fish + meat + fish + fancy cereals), their breath was terrible, they looked awful and 3 out of 5 got their pounds back and even more than they started with.

Surely you'll lose weight fast, because you will be restricting yourself but you'll gain everything back with a high rate of interests.

i've not tried it but i know people who have. some say it works for them, some say it doesn't. the ones who say it doesn't is because they simply can't stick to it because it doesn't really allow variation.
if you are a big fan of meat and fish then go for it. but you have to stick to it in the first few weeks pretty religiously.
also, you have to really really follow the reintroducing of foods so your weight doesnt shoot up again.
but having said that, it definitly works. and it works fast. i've seen some of my friends loose an enormous amount of weight fairly quickly in a way that they didn't do on the atkins which is interesting.
just follow the book and you'll be fine! but make sure you buy ALL your food you need to before you embark on it, and throw out everything that isn't protein lol because otherwise it wil be far too tempting when your body is craving carbs and sugar

I've been on it since March 30th when I got a copy through the Amazon Vine program. I've dropped 7 lbs., 3% bodyfat, and a dress size since then. This is extraordinarily fast weight loss for me because normally I only lose about 2 lbs. per month. And this was doing the least restrictive version of "cruise", which is 5 days protein + veggies and only 2 days pure protein. My breath hasn't smelled and I haven't had any issues with irregularity. I'm getting between 20-35 grams of fiber per day between all the veggies and the oat bran.

Right now I'm doing a hybrid between "cruise" and "consolidation" because I've reached my original goal. If I can lose another couple of lbs. before my SIL's wedding on June 4th, great. If not, no biggie.

I wouldn't be able to stick to Dukan's "cruise" long-term but the "consolidation" I totally could. It's very similar to South Beach/Sonoma, which I've been able to stick to for years at a time. The thing I need to get a handle on is not resorting to emotional eating in the face of stressful life events.

Piece of crap. It's Atkins 2.0 where you put your body into ketosis which of course cause you to lose weight. I prefer to focus on healthy and clean over the latest fad diet.
