How long can you freeze cooked chicken?

I technically have no idea. But I do bake chicken, wrap it in plastic wrap, then stick it in a freezer bag. It has been good up for 3 or more weeks.0

thanks! I also wrap them separately in sandwhich bags then again in freezer bags. If I could just cook all my chicken that ill need for the month, this would be alot easier on me.0

If you make chicken stock, you can also freeze cooked chicken submerged in stock to prevent it from getting dry when it thaws.0

It will be safe to eat for a long time, but it won't taste as good or have good texture as it ages. Also if your freezer doesn't keep good temperature or does a bad job in its thaw cycles, the quality will drop faster. But even freezer burned, it is edible.0
