This may sound like am odd question, but does hula hooping count as excericse. I enjoy hula hooping while watching tv (may sound strange I know, but hey at least I'm not just sitting on the couch lol). Anyway does anyone log something like this? If so, how do you classify it? Thanks!

My gym has a hula hooping class so I'm going with yeah!!! I'd track it using an HRM though for accuracy.

sounds fab, i think theres a wii fit hula hoop on the database, if not maybe log it as wii fit either beginner or advanced depending on effort, it definately counts as exercise, although only a HRM would b able to accurately monitor how many cals it burns!

it totally does. I do it all the time while my kids play outside throw in a little jump rope for an extra burn. :)

FUN!!! If you search exercise under Wii -- they have a Hula hooping "game" that might give you a ballpark on what to log! I know it is a calorie roaster!

Oh I am sooooo excited! I can't wait until the new series "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition" comes to ABC the end of this month. I will totally be hula hooping the whole time
