Every other day diet!

Following dr. Varady every other day diet with great success! Anybody else doing this?

    I started on Monday, so it's my second fast day today. So far not as tough as I thought.

    Is this like the 5:2 diet but fast every other day? So more like 4:3? :)

    I'm guessing it will depend how much you indulge on your off days but it definitely could work for some people.

    I'm doing juddd. Which is essentially the same things. I eat 500 calories and up to 2400 calories (I've found I'm rarely that hungry to max out) on a 4:3 basis. I've lost just over 6kgs in 3.5weeks.
    I find it easy enough to maintain.

    I just started this diet today, my down days are 285 my up days are 1424 for the induction phase, I would like to lose 15-20 pounds I am currently 147 and 5 ft tall. anyone following this diet feel free to add me.

    Been doing it 15 days and down 5 pounds. Want to lose another 20 so fingers crossed the rest is as relatively simple as the first 5. Been chewing a lot of double mint gum, tic tacs water. Not nearly as tired on fast days as I thought I would be. Seeing the loss is keeping me motivated on my fast days and under control on my "feast days". Also been getting in 10-15,000 steps in everyday. Would love to hear other people's experiences.
