Any tips for maintaining weight while enjoying a vacation during the birthday week? Headed to Vegas tomorrow through Sunday. I went on several long runs each day this week to prepare but still don't want to go too overboard.

Set your calories to maintenance for the week. Combined with your runs and being aware, this should help you enjoy the week and still not gain.
You're doing great. And Happy Birthday!

Just make healthier choices. I always tell myself to use common sense when it comes to restaurant food.

    Order baked/grilled instead of fried.

Ask for a salad/vegetables instead of fries.

Order the salad dressing on the side, order water/diet cola/regular coffee/tea with your meal.

    Have fruit salad for dessert.

Order an appetizer for an entree.

Look up nutritional info online of the restaurants you are visiting and make your choice before you go there.

    OR

Just enjoy it and forget about it. Its your birthday so its a special occasion! You can always get back on track afterwards.

Try doing something fun but also active.

Track like you normally would. If you eat a huge brunch have a lighter dinner. Go for walks and workout where you can. You won't pack on pounds from 1 week. Have fun
