Have just started on the 'no sugar' journey (day 2) and have been doing a lot of research. In Australia there is no recommended amount of sugar per day but have read in the US for a women it would be about 6 teaspoons. My question is - do you count both fructose and glucose or just the fructose? TIA

All sugars, from fruit or otherwise, is broken down in the same way by your body. Sugar is sugar.0

Try to get a high proportion of your sugars from fresh fruit and veg and try to keep your fibre intake as close to your sugar intake as possible.

That's added sugars and pretty much all other whole sources have fructose.0
