Fast weight loss the first week?

I've been on a 1300-1400 calorie diet, and I've been weighing myself every day (its a habit from my ed ugh) and I've basically been losing a pound a day. I measure most of my food, and I'm even over my calories some day. I am 'heavier' but not by a lot. I'm 185lbs. Is this normal for the first week or so?

    Water weight. Will normalize after a week or two.....just keep doing what you are doing.
