Injured knees during Insanity workout

About 2 weeks ago I injured my knees while doing insanity. I am seeing a specialist next week to see the if I strain or tore something.
Is there anything I can do to continue losing weight while my injury heals? I don't want this to slow down my weight loss.

Well, weight loss is more about the diet than exercise so stay in a calorie deficit and you'll continue to lose weight. What exercises you can do depends on how bad the injury is, and what movements hurt.0

Agree with the fact Diet is around 80% of weight loss or somewhere around there. Make sure you maintain a strict diet and if possible swim or do the elliptical. Things like sit-ups, or arm/chest exercises shouldn't bother your knee. Just remember to take it easy and at the first sign of pain STOP. Depending on your weight/knee fatigue maybe just walk at a slow pace for 1/2 an hour around the neighborhood.0

I agree it's more about what you eat. Keep eating healthy and you should be good! Insanity is a lot of strain on the knees. I don't know people do it. I've tried0

You should be able to do most exercises for the upper body and can get a good sweat going if you do high reps with little to now break in between sets. Do seated exercises for the upper body as to not stress the knees. MFP doesn't calculate for it but strength training is more important than cardio as muscle is what really causes the body to burn fat. Diet is the most important thing, and as mentioned earlier, control that and you'll still continue to lose weight.0
