I have measured EVERYTHING and wieghed everything and still only have lost 3lbs and I work out with P90X about 3 times a week or I'm hiking going outside to do yard work ect. I keep my calorie intake under 1400 which is what My fitness plan evaluated for me to use. I don't know if the My fitness pal is being so accurate to what I'm doing. I want to lost weight and have been trying so hard. Not even one thing goes past my lips without calculating the calories I would consume. I am also eating more fruits and a ton more vegetables and upped my protein and lowered my carb intake. I would think that doing all of this would make me lose fast. I want to look as good as I feel on the inside.

I hear you . I feel the same way. I've only lost 6lbs and now I'm stuck. I'm not working out as hard as you but I've been pretty good about watching my calories. I'm ready to throw in the towel...but I know I can't and maybe our bodies are still adjusting. Give it time (that's what I keep telling myself) We can do it!!!!0

Give it time, trust me. Take your measurements...the scale doesn't tell you the inches you are dropping. Your pants will get loose if you keep working out!0

Are you eating your exercise calories? Sounds like you might need to eat more.0

I'm eating 1400 calories and not less or more, even when I do work out.0

I know this might sounds crazy, but I would increase your calorie intake. I know it sounds backwards, but it really does work. I have lost 40 lbs and since that MFP has calculated my calories at 1250/day, but that isn't enough for me to burn, so I increased it. I went from wanting to lose 1 lb a week to 0.5 lbs per week. I honestly sounds like you aren't getting enough with all the calories you burn. Are you eating back your exercise calories? What about your water intake which is very important? You could also try zig zagging your calories; it has helped me twice when I hit 2 plateaus. Just don't give up, P90X is a great program. Sometimes, it takes your body time to adjust to the new lifestyle.0

Be sure you're eating enough calories, your body might be needing more fuel. I try to eat back (almost) all my exercise calories.0

First of all...breathe. LOL Relax. :smokin: Stress plays a part in weight too. Are you drinking enough water? Muscles like to hang on to the H2O when they get worked. Are you eating some or all of your exercise cals back? Do you have a ton to lose or a smidge? And to answer your question, yes it will work for you as long as you work it.....and breathe! :flowerforyou: Hahahahahaha0

Oh I feel like I am in the same place as you. I am not getting the results that I want AT ALL. My trainer keeps saying that I could be replacing the fat with muscle, so the scale is not accurate.
I am going to keep going. I hope you do too~~~0 -
I drink about 2 liters of water a day and I don't drink soda or fruit juices. I'll try upping my calories. I have about 40lbs of weight I'd like to lose. I gained it all while I was in grad school and I know stress put on a lot of that weight for me, and not having enough time to work out with the long hours I'd pull for school and while working. I've been doing the my fitness plan for about a month now and haven't seen as much results as I would like. I'll try upping to 1600 calories and see what happens. My boyfriend thinks I'm gaining muscle and losing wieght and he says he sees it but all I see is my pants not fitting from last summer.0

It sounds to me like you think you SHOULDN'T eat back your exercise calories, but you SHOULD. At least some of them. My fitness pal gives you a NET calories you should consume, which means Calories out minus calories in = net calories.
whatever you burn in exercise is calories out, which would increase your net
you don't want to be starving yourself0
