Hello everyone
I am kinda new i have been on here for a month now, i have been working out an hour to an hour and a half every night 5 days a week and dieting. I hate that word so i will call it watching what i am eating much better lol. Well my question is i think i am pushing myself to hard cause i caught a cold and i was just staarting to feel better from that and i think it came back cause i feel like crap stuffy and i got the chills. Should i work out tonight or go home and rest?

A rest day won't hurt but I've been battling a cold for 10 days! Honestly working out has been helping clear it.0

I'm never in favor of people going to any public place they don't have to if they have a cold or flu. But more importantly, your body is telling you to give it a break. Rest is great medicine.0

If I have a fever or stomach "distress," you know, the SERIOUS kind not just feeling gross, I don't work out. If I have a cold that hasn't settled into a deep cough, or allergies, or basic logy-ness I work out. It usually helps burn off a cold quicker, in my opinion.0

If its just a cold, yes. I find I often feel better afterwards. You can do an easier workout if needed. A sweat can do you good. However if you're running a fever and chills, can't get out of bed or are injured, take it easy. Wipe down the equipment after using and everyone will be fine. You're the best judge of how you feel. And I hope you feel0
