We use our WiiFit balance board as a scale. We've tested it out against a few other scales, and it seems to be accurate. What I like best is that it's consistent. I can get on a few times in a row, and it always gives the same reading.0

are you talking about food scales or weight scales? If you are talking about a scale for weight, I use my Wii. Love it

Yes weight scales. I have a Wii board..how do you use it? thnx0

I am a daily weigher and charter so accuracy is important to me. I am a big fan of any EatSmart product. They are on Amazon for about $300

I also use my Wii!!! Its accurate, which is of course great, plus I like how it shows my progress on the screen and keeps track of everything...but the reason I ditched my regular scale for it altogether is I am a compulsive weigher..and can weigh myself several times a day, even when not trying to lose weight. I have issues with that.
I store my wii board under my couch, so to weigh myself, I have to pull it out, put the wii fit disk in, wait for it to load, blah blah blaaah lol I cant be doing that 10 times a day.0 -
I love my Aria.

I have a WW scale that I use, but it's getting a little inconsistent... I should probably check/change the batteries. It is both a blessing and a bane. When I find my weight going down I somehow inevitably start stepping on the scale every day, which is never a good thing for me. Working on fixing that.0

I have a tanita scale-- it works pretty good but I don't use it to the extent it could be used. It can do BF%, hydration, etc. But now I might start using my Wii again-- use to use it and it worked ok, I just question accuracy0

I find mine to be very accurate. Every so often, I will try out the one at my grocery store (only if no one, and I do mean NO ONE is within enough distance to see what the scale says LOL!) and its right on par with what my wii says.
That being said, no matter what, its good to use the same scale all the time, and not switch around. Even if a scale is not perfectly accurate, whats important is consistency, using the same scale, at the same time of the day provides more consistent results than a different scale, or even the same scale at different times of the day. What youre looking for is a consistent reading so that you can track your progress.0 -
Never thought of using that Wii board, that's brilliant. We have a cheap digital that my wife found on sale some where. I think its pretty good.0
