Hello everyone I purchased this book and have been reading it, but I am slightly confused... What exactly is the workout for stage 1?

Could you explain what you are confused about? I have the book but not on hand. It's fairly straight forward. The pages where that stage are listed are shown here (sorry, no page numbers.)

    Stage 1
    Workout A # 1 (Monday, say)
    Squats, 2 sets of 15

Alternate these (first 1 set of p/u, then 1 set of s/r, then 2nd set of p/u and 2nd set of s/r)
    Pushup, 2 sets of 15
Seated Row, 2 sets of 15

    Alternate (same as above)
    Step-up, 2 sets of 15
    Prone jack-knife, 2 sets of 8

    The next workout is
Workout B # 1 (Wednesday of that same week, say)
(then what it says in the book)

    The next workout is
Workout A #2 (Friday of that same week, say)
the workout is the same as your first "A"

I think what you are confused about is that it is not entirely clear that in stage 1, the first two times you do workout A you follow the same routine for both days you do the A series (1 & 2). When you get to Workout A # 3, then the reps have changed and you follow THAT for the day you do #3, and the day you do #4.

Do you all actually follow the food plan? Do you think it would change the results if I didn't follow them exactly?
