protein without eggs

I need some ideas for quick snacks or smalls meals but I don't like eggs or cheese. I am doing well staying within my goal of 1340 calories a day but I am very carb heavy. I would like to incorporate more protein that doesn't include eggs or cheese. Can anybody give me some ideas?

are you vegetarian? if not I would suggest lean meats, rolled up ham slices, jerky, adding chicken to salads. Nuts and beans/lentils also work great for upping protein.0

Peanut butter, hummus. Resolve to have your snack with a protein of one sort or another and your carbs will reduce by proportion.0

Try lentil salad with carrots, celery, red/yellow peppers and red onions. add lemon juice and no salt is needed. If you like add crumbled feta for saltiness. 1/2 cup of cooked lentils will give you 10 g of protein, 11 g of fiber and much more.0

a tbsp peanut butter with a tbsp chocolate protein powder
more tofu
add hemp hearts to everything
a tbsp of peanut butter with a tbsp of hemp hearts
lentils with steamed veggies (kale n cabbage?) and tofu
vegetarian chicken breasts? takes like 5 minutes to cook and usually pretty high protein
if you have a food processor you can make banana protein ice cream: 1 frozen banana, 1 (or however many you want) scoop chocolate protein powder, maybe a bit of milk to get the texture right, a scoop of nut butter, maybe some wheat germ and flax seed if you're into that0 -

Not enough love for seafood in here. SKRIMPS! as we call it at my house, normal people call it shrimp. So good to have around to toss in pasta or salad at the last second.0

I just discovered turkey meat sticks yesterday. I also enjoy kefir, especially the low sugar variety. I am trying to increase my protein as well and will be trying some of the suggestions on this thread. Thx for asking.0

I work out so here is mine:
Muscle Milk Knockout Chocolate (YUMMY and loaded with 45 grams of protein)
Protein Bars (watch out for the loaded sugar ones)
Nuts and seeds
Pork rinds (don't laugh no carbs and plenty of protein)
Beef Jerkey
Greek Yogurt (Dannon Oikos Triple Zero 1 cup 25 grams protein)
Canadian bacon, regular bacon
Peanut Butter
Meats (chicken, pork, beef... any way you like it)
Trail mix
These are just a few.... do a search on the internet for high protein snacks or meals and if you like to prepare food there is plenty of options and if you want the quick grab and go, there is so many options and some quick things you can throw together....

Those single serving packs of starkist tuna that you can buy from basically any grocery store are one of the best sources of protein I've been able to find, and they're only 70 calories each.0

My snacks need to be low carb, so I put 4 oz of cut-up chicken and a cup of mixed bluberries, raspberries and blackberries in a tupperware and nosh on it with a fork. Good stuff!0
