Did anyone else catch her on there last night? What inspired me the most was her attitude about exercising and eating healthy. She mentioned putting exercise into every day. She also only ate in moderation.

I know these things are repeated OVER and OVER and OVER again. For me personally, I don't try to squeeze exercise into my day. Here in Illinois, it's been around 1 degree F outside. I have no desire to leave my apartment. I also don't eat in moderation. I think when good food is present, I tend to eat more because I somehow believe I won't have another chance to eat good food. Like, if someone brings dough nuts to work, I eat some because I don't know when I'll be eating one again.

Ricki Lake is a person that's been heavier than I am and is now someone smaller than I am. If she was able to completely change the size and shape of her body, why can't I?

Also, she mentioned she's almost 40 years old. She looks like a young, 30 something.

I didn't see Ricki, but what you said about the doughnuts reminded me of a tip I heard once. When someone at work offers you something, take it but put it in a large baggie. Now you are not feeling that you had to deny yourself the treat, you are just saving it for later. Do this everyday, and at the end of the week, choose one thing from the bag and really enjoy it. Then look at the baggie and realize ALL THOSE CALORIES YOU DIDN'T EAT!!! YAY!! Toss the baggie in the trash and feel good about yourself!! However, this probably works best for cookies and wrapped candy, not doughnuts! LOL Good luck!
