People listen.
But there is no one to talk to
In her dark secret place.

Sometimes she has hope,
That she will one day escape.
Her heart beating
With the beat of a tune
That's been played one too many times before.
But maybe this time...
She will be free.
So she tries to climb out.
She runs.
She fights.
She fails and starts again.
