I work 12hrs on the back shift. But I have a 2-2-3 schedule. So my sleep & eating is all over the place. My ? Is, how many calories should I allow myself? Also should I count for 12hr periods?

I work construction 14 hours a day/ 6 days a week, so I usually make a 400 calorie peanut butter and jelly sandwich (I can't have an actual lunch, I have to eat where in standing), and then I have a hefty dinner when I finally get home. I try to get 1400 calories, and I don't count WORK as a workout or anything. Your calorie count will be different depending on what you weigh, height and activity level.0

your schedule wont affect your calories. you get X amount a day. eat them when you want...0

I work 12 hour nights and while at work I try to have 2 small snacks and 1 full meal during my lunch break. I then try and eat something light before I go to bed so I'm not super hungry when I wake up. Most time I don't have a problem fitting in all my calories.
Just like My_butt I don't count work as a workout.0 -
