Hi,

i've just brought ella's cookbook and some of the receipes do look amazing. Just wondered how people find them as she doesnt count calories but i obviously am as she views eating clean unprocessed foods means that its easier to stay at your natural weight.

just wonder how people got on and any reccommends in which to try first

My husband's cousin is all into her stuff and made some of it, she isn't on mfp though and eats all of that stuff she wants even though some of it is very high calories?? Maybe someone on here has tried them.

My husband and I have lost respectively 35kg and 18kg on MFP and I use Skinnytaste Website and the new Cookbook. It has made things so easy for us. But I have probably cooked all the recipe's in the book so will go look at Ella's. Always need something new to try.

I made the Mango and Cashew mousse yesterday. I used frozen mango to produce it as an ice-cream. It was delicious but, when I checked the ingredients on MFP it came out as over 600 calories per person if you assume it serves 4. It could serve 8 at an extreme push but what's the point of blowing 300 calories on a small dessert? She continually quotes studies that say calories don't matter if the ingredients are natural but gives no details of where or when these studies were made. This is nonsense, you might as well use double cream as cashews.
