Calorie Calculation

It is just me or does the calories calculation for My Fitness Pal seem off. I don't think that my 20 minutes of jope rope burned 237 calories. Did my hour and a half of pick up basketball games actually get rid of 700 calories? Anyone else thinking this?

This is why you see so many people struggling to lose weight. They have outrageously high exercise calories and eat every one of them back.
MFP estimates very high. Most people I see find they are more successful when hey only eat back half those calories. Or switch to the TDEE method where you don't eat back calories.0 -
I've wondered about that too. But I also don't think the calories listed on exercise equipment (like elliptical) are accurate. I usually just tend to go with the lowest "calories burned" and try not to eat back any of those calories.0

I've been trying the "not eat back your calories you've burned" method but then if you don't come within 300 calories eaten of your total, MFP says you're not eating enough.0
