eating breakfast for moms

I read an article that said you should eat breakfast within 30 minutes the time you first wake up. But I'm a mom. And my 6 month old requires me to wake up at odd times. Should I eat breakfast at 5am or wait until I actually get up and start my day?

There is absolutely no reason that you need to wait to eat breakfast. Eat when you can.
ETA - whoops - totally misread. I thought you were waiting to eat. Either way, answer is still the same, eat when you can/want to.0 -
You don't need to eat breakfast at any certain time, you can just eat when it's convenient for you.0

you can eat when you feel like it, or have time ... there is no rule you must eat at X time.

No need to eat breakfast that quickly or even at all. Eat when you feel like it. You have enough going on with a baby. No need to add any more pressure0

Listen to your body. If it's 5am and you want breakfast....well, go for it! Personally, I need to eat between 40 - 60 minutes after I wake up to feel my best, and I can't stomach anything before 5:30.

Id go with whatever your official wake up time is. I do a smoothie so I can eat while the baby is and its within the 30 min time frame. Its the most convenient fir me.0

Three days a week I get up at 4:45am and am working out by 5am, and breakfast doesn't usually happen until 8:00 or later. Hasn't seemed to hinder me in any way.0

There is no correlation between the time food is consumed and weight loss.0 -

If you are hungry at 5 AM then eat. If you are not hungry, then wait until later.
I get up at 6 AM to take my dog out, heat water, pack dh's lunch, feed the fish and drink a glass of water. I go back to bed until 8 AM and then eat breakfast when I get up that time.0 -
Timing is irrelevant, so eat when you're hungry.0
