Thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of New York Rangers winger Derek Boogaard who was found dead in his Minneapolis apartment by members of his family. He was 28 years old. Unbelievably tragic news.

Rest in peace Boogey. :(

    Just heard. Terrible news. Way too young. Just goes to show you life can be over in a flash. Thoughts and prayers from a Blackhawks fan.

    Horrible..... horrible news.... that is twice in 4 years for the Rangers organization.... puts a damper on the rest of this season....

    It was a tough day for all MN sports fans. First the news about Harmon Killabrew and then about Boogey. Life is too short live it to the fullest and don't regret anything you do.
