Ulcer Friendly Diet Help

Okay so me and my doctor are pretty sure I have an ulcer. I'm getting it checked out soonish via ultrasound, but in the mean time I need to stick to an ulcer friendly diet. Which sounds really bland and lame. No dairy, no spicy, no alchohol, no grease, very little or no acidics etc. I feel like my only remaining option is plain rice with a side of plain chicken. Yuck. :s

Is there an app or something that can help me cobble together an ulcer friendly diet? Something that I can kind of enter in restrictions or something and it comes up with meal ideas or recipes or anything like that. Unfortunately, I have to take this pretty seriously because even eating a LITTLE bit of the wrong food gives me unbelievable pain, but I also have two little kids who wont be happy with an oatmeal exclusive diet, if you know what I mean.

So yup. Any suggestions or help or commiseration?

Thanks

Ugh I feel you're pain :( I had an ulcer about a year ago, and it was the most painful thing I've ever had to deal with. I'm afraid I can't be much help though...I mostly ate a lot of carbs like bread and pasta, as those made my stomach feel better. Unfortunately there's just not a while lot you can eat until it gets better. But I was so nauseous the whole time I didn't want anything but bland anyways :/ sorry, wish I could be more help and I hope you're feeling better soon!
