I started 11 days ago. Watching my calories and walking everyday. I lost 4.4 lbs since but have been at a stand still. I've been walking 3+ miles a day. Then I do extra stretches/exercise at home. I'm sore! My Fitbit Flex is showing me I'm meeting all my goals for my 10,000 steps a day, my water intake it above what It recommended, I just don't get it. I'm working my butt off but not seeing the scale # go down. at first I was eating 1600 calories, feeling like it was too much I lowered it to 1300 calories a day. Still not results. What am I doing wrong?

You've lost 4.4 lbs in 11 days if I'm reading this right. I'm not seeing the problem. How long is this standstill you've been at? Weightloss is not linear. You can easily go several days without showing a loss. Weigh once a week to avoid seeing daily fluctuations if they bother you.0

Are you weighing your food using kitchen scales?
You may not be doing anything wrong. Weight loss isnt linear and you shouldnt expect instant results. You have lost 4.4lb in 11 days what more do you want? The healthy rate of weight loss is 1-2lb a week so you are doing well.
Take a deep breath, keep dong the right things and have some patience.0 -
The beginning lbs were just water weight that's why I lost over 4lbs. I measure, weight everything. I have 60 lbs to lose, I'm bigger so I feel I should be seeing results quicker the way I'm working out. Three days I stayed at 207.6 now for three days I've been at 206.6. I've been weighing myself every morning for as long as I can remember, it's hard for me not to. But I'll try to not weight myself until next Monday. But if I go a whole week and not weigh myself everyday. Then weight myself a week later and still no results that's going to be devastating! Should I be eating more calories?0

The first big losses usually are water weight and then you'll level off to smaller losses. You'll need to wrap your head around the fact that some weeks won't show a loss to avoid devastation. You might show no loss one week and twice as much as you were expecting another week. It all balances out. So many things can affect your weigh in day...high sodium the day before, a change in workout routine, etc. You've just got to roll with it. If it helps, chart your weight so you can still see the downward trend. If you notice an upward trend, tweak you calorie intake a bit.
Without knowing your age, height, weight, and goals, no one can tell you how many calories to eat. Even then it''s an educated guess. Everyone is different and you have to play with the #'s until you find the right one for you0 -

Changing your eating habits/lifestyle is a marathon, not a sprint. Eleven days does not establish a pattern.
Eat at a deficit and be patient. The pounds will come off.0 -
Sounds like what you're doing is just fine, but what you're expecting isn't. Keep at it, just change your expectations so that you are looking for results over months, not weeks.0

It's hard, I want instant results but I know that's not realistic. I know the changes I've made are going to pay off in the long run ... Also helps my husband said forget what the scale says, I can tell you're losing weight in your face, so this is a0

Understandable.
Whenever I get frustrated with "results", I put the scale away for a month and focus on doing what I know I should be doing. Good things usually follow.

If your results are instant, then they won't be long lasting. I don't know what your stats are, but I know that it took me about 18 months to lose 40 lbs (I am 5ft, had a starting weight of 188 and went to 147) - I had some weeks where the lbs melted off and some weeks I plateaued and did not lose anything for 3 weeks. You should also keep in mind of the time of the month, as that can impact your weight. I gain a couple of lbs of bloat during my time of the month. Just keep plugging away, measure your food, exercise if/when you can, and don't make yourself crazy about it.0

I have sat at the EXACT SAME weight for three weeks. Step on the scale one morning after weighing every day and out of nowhere, 2 pounds down. Weight loss is weird. Stick with it.0
