Does anyone just eat a higher calorie protein bar for lunch?

I have trouble with the amount I eat during lunch. I find myself just really hungry. By only eating a 300 calorie builders bar, something mentally clicks that this is all I need right now.. however, when I eat real food I just don't feel full enough to not eat more.
I eat the 300 calorie Builder's bars. 30 grams protein. Anyone else? Or any tips to break this bad habit would be great as well.

Maybe you need to add more protein when you eat regular food. I like split chicken breast it has about 25 grams protein. Also eggs have a lot of protein. I am by no way an expert on any of this. I know that when I have a chicken salad for lunch I am much fuller than we I eat a Lean cuisine or smart ones meal.0

Why is it a problem ? Some of these bars have fiber-type components that are quite filling.0

Vada, maybe you're right. Yarwell, it's a problem because I eat almost the same thing day in and day out. It wouldn't be a problem, but i've done this before and then when I decide to eat something that isn't my usual food my skin become extremely tender and painful to touch.0
