i walk for a half hour every day on my lunch i burn about 100 calories.

after work i run/walk on the treadmill, i do three miles and i burn around 265 calories.

i try and run around with the kids too so i burn some here and there with that.

but i have NO clue what my food and calorie intake should be.

MFP puts me at 1200 calories a day but i see so many people post that they eat more than that to lose weight or they dont see any weight loss.

i am 4'11 and 134lbs.

thank you !!!

I don't know very much about this because I'm still so new, but try the iifym calculators on www.iifym.com

It seems that based on your height the range of healthy weight is 103-134 which means you are right at the top of your healthy weight. I am new-ish at this BUT what I have seen a lot is that weight loss is a lot slower the closer you are to your goal weight (although you have not shared what your goal weight is) but seeing that you are technically at a healthy weight I am thinking it will be a lot more difficult and perhaps 1200-1250 is what you need to eat in order to lose whatever your goal is. If you exercise you can eat some of your calories back (it seems the amount of calories is usually higher than reality so most people eat between 50-75% of the calories back).

Since you are in your healthy range, aim for .5lb/wk weight loss (1773-250=1525 range). It will help you lose it more slowly and you won't feel so deprived.

my goal weight is 112lbs. i would be happy there!

so it seems i am doing okay with the calories i'm consuming with the calories i'm burning. i just have to give it some time!
