i know how sad is that! i couldn't beleive it! that poor little baby isn't gonna understand what is going on and where her daddy went0

I know, RIGHT? :frown: so sad... I loved him in A Knight's Tale...0

Yes, it is sad, and troublesome at the same time.
and SOMEONE in the medical industry is in trouble, or at least should be.
He was found with 2 different forms of sleeping pills. Which separte are decent, but together are deadly. So tell me, WHICH Doctor did not read his history and perscibed a different sleeping pill on top of the one he was already taking. OR What Doctor did not do a full work up on him before they gave him these pills, OR Which Doctor forgot to tell him to NOT TAKE THEM WITH THE OTHER BECAUSE IT CAUSES DEATH!!
He was having trouble sleeping after he did the roll of the JOKER in the new batman movie that was to come out. Which is why he was taking the sleeping pills to start with, I assume.
How many more young stars or YOUNG PEOPLE FOR THAT MATTER Stars or not! will lose their lives before something is done.

Don't really know who he is. Happened to see the post. Was suicide ruled out?, or was this an accidental overdose? Quite unfortunate either way. Just goes to show that prescription drugs aren't really the answer and makes me question Western medicinal practices once again. Seems Eastern culture and their medical beliefs are much safer and more effective. Not enjoying doctors, I work very hard at staying healthy, and thank god after almost 40 years, my only experiences with them are for checkups ONLY !!!0

This is such sad news, I thought I was dreaming when my radio came on with the news this morning before I was awake properly. He was genuinely talented - in Brokeback Mountain he was incredible. I was wondering how someone could ACCIDENTALLY overdose on sleeping pills (I was assuming you had to take like the whole bottle), but as diann's post explains it's apparently frighteningly easy.0

Yeah...I seriously almost wrecked my car when I heard it on the radio this morning. Okay...okay...I'm not a freak. But he is talented and it was just not something that I expected. He was the type of person that I could picture as an older man and still acting. Ya know? I don't know. I was just startled by this news. It is very sad...

Yes it is too easy.
He only had to take one of each to put his heart in failure mode.
Being young two of each would have done it
Knowing most American thinking. (Yes I know he is not American, but I bet he was thinking this.)
"So I tried one of these and they are good, I will take 2 because that must be better."
SO far the coroner report say inconclusive, this means that when they looked at his insides they did not see the whole bottle of pills. They may have seen 3 or 4.
More often then not, an inconclusive report means that he had no intention of killing himself, he just wanted to get some sleep. :brokenheart:
and that is what really hurts.

I know...it's horrible. I really don't think it was intentional. And his 2 year old daughter...it's just so sad. I can't get over it!!

It's so heartbreaking to me that Fox news allowed some stupid reporter of theirs to make a mockery of his death.0

OK hello it is FOX news...

I found myself crying the other night...I dont know what came over me. I guess...it just hurts me to know that he was SO talented and has a young child. He had so much more of his life to live.0

I didn't know the toxicology results were in or announced that stated what or how many sleeping pills were found in his system. It's all really just massive media hype at this point. It's all very sad how he's gone to begin with and secondly how the media jumps on the bandwagon before they have any facts. I feel sorry for his family having to deal with all the fallout.0
-
it just makes you wonder, why the doctors et al are all so quick to prescribe a pill, or why people are so quick to accept that as a solution. what happened to meditation? warm milk, sex, conversation, a movie, reading a book, prayer? He had other choices. Did he have drug issues previous to this? and why are we sensationalizing it? Its sad, it should be mentioned, but the constant rehash is horrible. we see it with anne nichole, brittany, and many others. why do we obsess with the trials of others? I have not seen any of this mans work, didn't even know who he was until he and his private life was splattered all over the media. Poor guy. My prayers are with his family. may he rest in peace.:brokenheart:0
