    I limit my cardio to high intensity for short bursts (intervals and warm ups only) and spend most of my time on weight training - lifting weights so heavy that I can only do 4-5 sets of 5-10 reps. Like REALLY heavy. OR I do the body weight circuits from nerdfitness.

    I think I do about an hour and a half of cardio a week and about 3 hours of strength training.

    Since I switched to focusing on strength instead of cardio, i havent lost any weight, but I went from a size 16 to a size 8. Lifting heavy made me REALLLLLLLLLLLLLY slim, whereas cardio was just changing the number on the scale and I wasnt really looking any different :(

    I dont eat junk food except for chocolate during my PMS/period week and at parties. I dont restrict what I eat except for trans fats (which I wont eat), butter, whole milk cheeses, coffee creamer, stuff with lots of corn syrup in it - stuff like that- I either eat less or found an alternative.

    My secret was to NOT kill myself slaving away with an hour of cardio on the elliptical machine EVER and instead, wake up and two twenty minutes of vigorous calisthenics and then go for a 30 minute fast walk later, or do 45 minutes of heavy lifting and my cool down walk.

    That's it.

    2-3 hours lifting weights/week + brief bursts of interval cardio + one long run (anything over 4 mi I guess? I dunno - I do a half twice a month - but I started with a 5K on sundays and even this is optional cause it didnt help my weight loss) + 4 or 5 bottles of water a day + no technology during breakfast + sleeping 8 hours 4 nights a week.

    Yeah Ive lost 90 pounds, but to me the bigger difference was going from a 22/24W to a 7/8 juniors and not having an apron of loose skin to have to do damage control on.

    NROLFW, is the best recommendation I can give you :)

    PS - just to offset some of the crazy advice I saw in the responses here lol - you cant lose fat cells - they just shrink ;)
  • Check your thyroid that was my problem, I was working out eating right and not losing weight. They were shocked how off mine was
