Totally depends on the activity. For lifting i prefer heavy metal and hard rock, bands like Metallica, Sevendust, Seether, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin and Audioslave. When I run, I like a varitey of music, anything with a good beat works.

I actually love working out to the big epic battle scene type classical music! If that's not an option I got with anything that has an upbeat tempo that I'd dance to.

Anything EDM/House is great for running, and for lifting!

House music is great imo! Stuff like Beggin For Thread (gryffin & hotel garuda remix) by Banks etc., If it has a good beat it's great to workout to ^^
I also like dramatic sort of music? not so much classical but more like Seasons Die One After Another by Amazarashi. (warning if u watch the music vid for that it's a teensy bit gorey).
