I love almonds and cashews and try to eat them every day. What nuts do you like? And I'm talking about the ones in the shells that grow on trees just so everyone understands :p

I eat almonds and pistachios most often. Pretty much daily.

I eat peanut occasionally, and peanut butter often.

We planted filberts (hazelnuts) and pecans recently and I can't wait till they start producing as those are 2 of my favorites, but store bought are crazy expensive where I live.

But I like all nuts that I've tried except for black walnuts. Those do crazy things to my tongue.

I used to love almonds and peanuts. I shouldn't say "used to." I still do. But they're calorie dense, so I only have them on occasion.

Yes you are nuts. I love pistachios and cashews. And I've developed a love of Brazil nuts since that's always what was left over in the nut mix at my parent's house when they had parties.

I love nuts and nut butters, but they do have lots of calories, I just eat smaller servings of them.

Peanuts don't grow on trees so do they not count?

Technically peanuts are not a true nut. Cashews either.

Hazelnuts don't grow on trees either.

I just finished eating some almonds.

I also eat cashews and walnuts a lot, not sure why I eat pistachios less often, as I love them.

I eat almonds several days a week. I eat peanut butter almost every day as well (even though peanuts aren't technically a nut).

I like pretty much all nuts though.

because they're a pain to get out of the shell?

That's why I love them. It takes longer to eat them. I bought some shelled pistachios once. Never again.

We have a grocery store that caters to different ethnicities but is still a pretty large chain (Fiesta), and in the Pakistani/Indian isle they have shelled pistachios (and other nuts) for very cheap. They're raw, but that's easy to deal with. Also, spices are half the price as the normal spice isle and twice as much quantity-wise. It's my favorite section of the store.

Trader Joe's also sells them shelled. "Pistachio Nutmeat"

I live in northern New England, a lot of things hit MA and don't come further north so I haven't heard of Fiesta. But I get the Badia spices in the ethnic aisle, cheaper and more spices as well.

Also, to change your life, take a pistachio shell half, insert into the crack of another unshelled pistachio and twist. Done.

Probably. I tend to laziness about stuff like that. It's why I almost never eat fava beans (with or without chianti).

It really is a good reason to eat more pistachios.

They only seem pricey. Serving size is 1 oz so you are getting 16 portions for your $7.99, or 50 cents per portion. Not too bad really.

My favorite is pistachios. I buy them already shelled, as they can make quite a mess otherwise! I can eat 1/4 cup and for some reason they fill me up for a good couple of hours. I also keep sliced almonds on hand to add to my salads. Pecans can be a lot of fun to pick up from the ground where pecan trees abound and crack while you're with a crowd (or just by yourself!), but pecans are precious to me for baking, which is all I use them for. I'm not fond of walnuts for some reason. Peanuts are a legume, not a nut, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE boiled peanuts!!! They will be one of my rewards when I get to maintenance, hah! I didn't know cashews weren't a nut, otherwise I would mention that as well.

I eat pretty much all kinds of nuts. I eat a serving usually every single day. My favorite is the Blue diamond lightly salted roasted almonds. (only 40 sodium a serving). The bad of eating nuts is the sodium in my book, so I try to get light or no salt nuts. sometimes it is baking nuts (no salt). Right now, I have the almonds, spicey cajun pistaccio's, no salt pistaccio's, peanuts (not really a nut, but to me it is), and pepita's (kernel (green) seed out of sunflowers). I also will get cashews, hazelnuts, pecan's etc.

Mixed Nuts in the shell so I can earn them :)

    Pistachio's, Walnuts, Almonds

I love nuts! I don't mind the fat, just wish they had less calories and salt
