75 year old grandmother

I have been on fitpal for a year. Diagnose as a diabetic last year. Lost 10 pounds. Gained back 5. Winter did me in

    I wish I could just hibernate for the winter. Go on a huge eating binge in October and then wake up in April. B)

    That would be nice. I see internist , Monday. I'm afraid he will be disappointed. I've tried medicine to bring blood sugar down but had side effects. I'm a compulive eater.Just have to tell my self stop.

    Carol, just take it one day at a time. It is hard to lose but we have to do it for our own health and our "others". Since July, 2014, have lost 33.4#. Just not eating wheat, grains, sugar and very little dairy. Have felt so good and my arthritis has stopped giving me so much pain. My doctor says this is a good food plan and keep going with it. Have about 50# more to lose but am determined.may I add you as a friend and we can encourage each other?
