I've lost 28.7% of my starting weight,
and I am 71.3% of the person I used to be.
When I get to my initial goal, I will have lost 40% of my starting weight,
and I will be 60% of the person I used to be.
Once I get there, I might want to drop another 10-15 lb, but I'll see how I feel once I hit my initial goal, which is 10 lb under the top end of a healthy BMI range. (So I didn't just pull it out of thin air; there's some rational basis for the number.)

Look at it this way... you noticed the problem & decided to do something about it sooner than those of us who are losing (or need to lose) more pounds & a higher % of our starting weight.
Wish I'd gotten smart sooner. Like maybe 75 lb sooner, so I'd only have 35 to lose instead of 110.0
